Absolutely wonderful in every way -- customer service, ambiance, music and the food -- yum, yum, yummy! It was the best place we ate at in NOLA.

We had the Monte Cristo sandwich, which is why we went in there. Delicious beyond reproach!! The service was instant and the vibe pleasant. I’m here for a wk so Breakfast at the Izzat soon.

We stumbled across Izzat NOLA while looking for breakfast and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. They’ve only been open about seven months, but they’re already doing things right.

The place is small, cute, and welcoming, and we were seated immediately while many nearby spots had long waits. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.
I had the eggs Benedict and it was excellent. Perfectly poached eggs with rich hollandaise and great flavor. The menu also includes crepes, French omelets, croque monsieur, and pain perdu for breakfast and brunch.

They also serve lunch and dinner, with dishes like French onion soup, steak frites, mussels, and sandwiches.

Great food, great people, charming atmosphere, and no wait. A real hidden gem in New Orleans.

This restaurant is right next to our hotel so we stopped here for dinner. I got the steak frites and they were 10/10, the service was amazing, they were all sweet and nice. Might come back for breakfast tomorrow. I love this place!!

Such a wonderful place! My friend and I only came in for a Crème brûlée and ended up ordering some grilled salmon which was PHENOMENAL beyond flavorful 1000/10 , i ordered the ham and cheese crêpe 1000/10 , it was my first time having one and it was AMAZING! The staff is wonderful and super friendly. The crème brûlée was also PHENOMENAL. I really recommend coming here if you want some tasty food and perfect service! Will definitely come back when we’re in the area

We were looking around for a spot to eat lunch and happened upon this cute little place. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and the staff was so friendly. Several of our group god sandwiches (French Dip, Monte Cristo, Croque Monseiur) and one got a banana crepe, which was also great. The best part was the crème brûlée for dessert. It is made in house and the custard was so smooth! Definitely eating here again when we are back in New Orleans!

The cocktails were also really good especially the Bloody Mary. And on top of all that, the customer service was excellent which is hard to find these days. Service was also very fast. We are frequent NOLA visitors and will definitely be back!

Izzat NOLA is the type of authentic French café I wish I had in my neighborhood. We enjoyed a breakfast of excellent lattes, a Croque Monsieur, and a Monte Cristo. Sadly this was our last meal in New Orleans. If we had tried it earlier in our trip I guarantee we would have been back for lunch or dinner or dessert (crepes!). The decor is bright and comfortable, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious.

Delicious food, friendly service. Loved the strawberry cream crepes, it can substitute a whole meal and had plenty of strawberries inside. Also, loved that they had not just some kind of cheap Lipton tea but premium quality tea selection including herbal options

What a fantastic experience at Izzat! A friend of a friend recommended, and boy are we glad we came! Some of the truly best French food we've had in many years - everything from the French onion soup and the moules frites (seriously had to restrain ourselves from licking the plate!) to the croque monsieur, French dip, and the steak frites was just absolutely fantastic! Quality bread also.

And the dessert crepe (strawberry and banana, big enough to share for four good eaters!) was off the charts good as well. Great coffee drinks as well, and they offer decaf. And good cocktails to boot!

Come here, and come here often! This is a French Quarter gem that we need to keep around.

We came here because our usual stop had such a long wait. This may be a new usual stop. The staff is sweet, the food is amazing, the coffee is delicious. We had the tomato sandwich, the French dip and the eggs Benedict and it was all so good! We'll definitely be back.

We came by from due to the ruby slipper being full and man was that a brilliant idea. We ordered the French dip, eggs Benedict and a tomato sandwich on croissant. Split these between three people because we wanted to try everything. Absolutely delicious. And our server Elizabeth was a doll!

We absolutely loved our breakfast here. Elizabeth was the friendliest waitress and the food was incredible. We will be back for dinner the next time we are in the city.

Ps- get the French dip, you won't be disappointed.

This is definitely a place I’ll come to again! I got the eggs Florentine but on sourdough bread and it was really good. What also impressed me was ordering an oat milk latte and they did a fantastic job with steaming of the oat milk, I wish I could do it as well as them at home.

Fabulous cheese and mushroom crepe. Side salad was excellent as well. Would also recommend the French 75!

Izzat was wonderful. We're in town for a wedding and it just happens to be my daughter's 1st birthday. We came in for breakfast with a huge group (20ish) for breakfast and took over the restaurant without a reservation. The staff was so accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious! Cannot thank them enough for being so welcoming and staying cool under the pressure of such a big unexpected party.

Went here with two teenagers in Feb 2026, wanting to have great food but casual atmosphere- this place was perfect! Great steak, salad, Brussels sprouts, French onion soup, and dessert. What a hidden gem!! This is a new locally owned restaurant serving amazing, amazing food. Staff is friendly and service is very quick. I highly recommend stopping here for dinner. I had the mussels in a delicious white sauce with the best crispy shoe string fries. Also had the French omelette and Nutella omelette , AMAZING!

Izzat - a hidden gem, for sure. We stumbled upon Izzat on our last night in NOLA. Bummer because we would have loved to come back for breakfast.
We recommend the brussel sprouts with chili sauce- scrumptious. My wife’s a pescatarian and enjoyed the lightly dressed salad with perfectly grilled salmon; came with a thick slice of artisanal bread from Ayu Bakehouse. Mwuah!
I had the steak frites which I thoroughly enjoyed. We finished our evening with Illy coffee and Izzat’s house made crème brûlée. The perfect ending to a delicious meal.
Hands down our best meal in NOLA.

They took great care to tell us what the best dishes or recommendations since it was our first time. The accommodations were amazing and the took such great care of us. Everyone had something different: the Salmon was amazing, french dip amazing, crepes amazing, it was all so tasty and delicious. The owner even came back to check on us. I highly recommend if you are visiting this is a must visit or if you're a local I am sure it will become a favorite.

This was a last minute pick and wow this it blow us away. The service/people were amazing and sweet and the food was so good for the value you get. We're coming back tomorrow for sure. It was that good.

So delicious!! I have zero complaints. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, food was great (good portions, flavorful, cooked perfectly, came out quickly), and it was a nice quiet break from the busy streets nearby. We got the spinach+artichoke dip to share and I got the lentil soup as my entree (I wasn't super hungry, though I wish I was because I could've eaten everything on the menu). Both came with slices of bread. Got the house white (a chardonnay) that was nice and crisp. I tried a bite of the chicken entree too and it was so juicy and paired well with the asparagus and potatoes. Everyone else loved their entrees and everything felt very reasonably priced. Out door seating available too. Ended things off with the crème brûlée— again, delicious (and I'm a baker so I have a high bar :). I will absolutely be coming back on my next trip to the city! I don't often leave reviews, but if anywhere deserves your business it's here.

What a find!!!!!! We stayed at the Westin Hotel (during Mardi Gras 2026), and they had Izzat on their list of restaurants to visit. As we walked right down the street I was excited to see Izzat!! We went there and found the place to be very cute and cozy with both indoor and outdoor seating. Sweet Elizabeth waited on us, and what a delight she was!! My husband and I had their French Onion Soup and French Dip!!! Oh my gosh!!! That was the best French Onion Soup we ever had ( and we've had a lot)! And their French Dip was the best ever; it's always my go-to sandwich and Izzat's was the best!!!!
We enjoyed the service, the staff and the food so much that we went back the next day and ate the same foods!!! Absolutely delicious!!!!!!! And another sweet waitress, Jori, waited on us our second day. Both Elizabeth and Jori were just so nice and so efficient and just wonderful! They added to our great experience!
Izzat's other foods looked so yummy too. Wish we had more days there so we could have tried more of their foods!
If and when we go back to New Orleans, you can bet we will eat at Izzat's!!!! And anyone reading this review should definitely go eat at Izzat in New Orleans!!

Looking for a local reasonable priced supper and tried izzat. A real little gem . We had burgers and french onion and a crepe. All cooked fresh and really tasty. The little server was great . A must for a nice inexpensive meal.

Everything was so good, we got a savory crepe and a Nutella one and French onion soup. Service was amazing and the soup was one of the best I’ve ever had. Only thing I would change is to take the chocolate syrup off the crepe because it takes away from the Nutella but otherwise soooo good

This is a fun little French cafe serving great brunch. Pain Perdu (French toast) was a highlight. Definitely worth the stop!

This place has the best vibes, food, and drinks. I had the tomato and egg sandwich on sourdough (so lovely ) and my husband had the French omlete. The drinks were also on point! Loved the mimosa, Kir Royal, and, our favorite, the French Margarita.

We were here yesterday for a late lunch and had such an incredible experience that we had to come back again this morning for breakfast.

Yesterday I had the steak with smashed potatoes and asparagus — the flavor was absolutely unforgettable. It was one of those meals where every single bite feels special. I honestly have never tasted anything quite like it anywhere else. Simply divine.

Because of that amazing experience, we decided to return for breakfast — and it exceeded our expectations once again. Everything was beautifully prepared and just as delicious.

The restaurant is spotless, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is genuinely kind and attentive. You can truly feel that everything is made and served with care and love.

This place is something special. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back again.

We stumbled upon this while we were searching for a place to eat. We have our favorites we go to Everytime we are in town and now this place has made its way to the top of the list. I wish I would have taken photos of everything that we ate but it smelled so good and was so beautiful I unfortunately ate it all before my husband had time to snap the pics. 🤣 The fried brussel sprouts with the balsamic was AMAZING and so different. The French Dip was on some of the softest bread I've ever eaten with the right amount of seasoning and the nutella crepe? .... Yeah, probably going back in the morning for another. This is a must stop whether you live here or are just visiting!

Hidden gem!! We’re so glad we stumbled upon Izzat. The food, service, and atmosphere are superb. We started with calamari and Brussels sprouts that were both delicious, then for our main course, I had the monte cristo and it was perfection, my husband had the French dip sandwich that was garlicky heaven, and our son had the steak fritta and it was so flavorful and tender. This little gem is definitely worth visiting and we’re so glad we found it and will make this a must-visit on our NOLA trips.

If you don’t eat at Izzet, you’re missing out. It’s a relatively new French restaurant and is close to the action of Bourbon street, but far enough away to be a bit quieter. We had some lattes, eggs Benedict, and Izzet Combo and couldn’t find a complaint with any of it.

Admittedly, I’m not really into poached eggs, but devoured my combo plate it was so good. The waitstaff got us seated immediately despite it being packed and did an excellent job checking in on us.

I’d recommend Izzet for 1-6 people, it’s quiet and cozy, very easy to chat without it being too loud.

Stopped in unexpectedly for a quick brunch, food and service were absolutely impeccable. I tried an iced vanilla latte, the Croque Madame, and the strawberry crepes. Chefs kiss.

Quaint and quiet atmosphere, wonderfully friendly staff and the food is on-par with the big name New Orleans breakfast cuisine. The avocado toast and “Izzat Combo” egg plate will have us coming back here anytime we’re in the city again.

The hot spinach and artichoke sandwich was amazing!!! (Croque Mademoiselle)The bread was so moist yet firm. The cheese was so moist and melted just right; it was so good. This also comes with a side vinaigrette salad. I was halfway done when I thought about taking a picture.

My wife and I were walking by and some gentleman walked out this establishment literally saying "omg that was amazing" so we turned around and went in for breakfast. Omg food was soooooo good, friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Must visit for anyone wanting a amazing experience.

We are here for Mardi Gras.. The food was amazing. Wow. Great little spot! Close to the parade route and Cesars Palace

Great food in a casual setting. French onion soup was a highlight. The breakfast menu looks appealing. Cocktails are good, but would be improved by dumping the Finest Call mixers and making their own. Overall, very good food and value. I would happily return.
